My name is Renan Augusto Veiga. This is the name that was given to me just after my birth. Actually, I don´t understand why I have these names until now. Analyzing the meanings: "Renan" means "Seal" in French (???). But the good part of it, is that "Augusto" means "The Greatest" (wow).
To describe myself is something really complicated to do, but as my Administration & Management (University) professor always says: "The true intelligent beings of nowadays are not the intellectuals or geniuses, but those who possess an emotional intelligence enabling them to know exactly who they are."
Based on this definition, I start saying that walking with Christ, and studying his Word, I have learned who I Am. My limitations and potentialities. Where I am going to get if I make the right choices and, specially, listen to what the Holy Spirit tells me.
I'm young guy, that , even with a short period of existence, has some experience in store.
In the Last 5 years and a half, I have lived in 4 different countries (United States, Brazil, Switzerland and Germany). From the infinite halls of Chicago O´Hare Airport to the World Trade Center "Ground Zero". From the cafes in Madrid, circled with pigeons of the Plaza Mayor, to the 10-mile underground tunnels of the Catacombs of Sicily (Italy). From the mountains circled with Highways of the King of Liechtenstein, to the magnitude of Mont Blanc (France). From the tasteful Raclette in a typical Swiss restaurant in Geneva, to the stairways of Adolph Hitler in Munich, Germany.
God has taken me to the most different places in this world through the missionary bases as a personal training and development of my Ministry.
The Airplane landed, the penny finally dropped, the bedroom door closed, the silence arrived, the tears rolled down my face. Only 2 people were there with me: The Holy Spirit teaching me, and the devil bringing fear.
As the Sacred Hymn says: "I worked for my Master".
There, I`ve learned the meaning of "calling". I´ve learned that the pulpit is the place of surrender and to be a Pastor is to "depend totally from the Lord", and therefore, it is required to love His face, and not just his hands.
Because of that, today I'm ready, even contained in a process.
I'm ready to turn this big potential that He has placed in me, into something relevant for the Kingdom. Ready to fulfill the purpose of my existence and become a big arrow that points out to the Calvary.
I'm a son of Pastors, and a brother of the most sincere individuals that I´ve ever known.
With my Parents I've learned the meaning of "caracter" and there is no one who can define the word "reference" as them.
Friends? Well, there are just a few.
But they are those who understand that trust, respect and intimacy are conquered, and for that, they deserve all my sincerity and recognition. I can add that are those who recognized in me a ministry, a calling, a flame, but could indentify in me, a testimony.
Frustrations? only with those that I offered my hand, my help and in return received indifference and loneliness. Result: That taught me to identify my weaknesses, and at the same time, that forgiveness is greater than revenge. Taught me that sometimes we have to be "dumb" to show the world the attributes of a Loving and merciful God.
Closing: I'm a person that gives value to sincerity and respect. The sincere Hug.
